welcome to my story 📒
Hey. You have landed on my story section, welcome!

so, what is this?
For a long time, I had wanted a place for the small, meandering stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else. It's not meant to be a project showcase or a resume. You can find them on your own elsewhere really easily if you really wanted to.
It is also not a blog, per se. I don't really have much to write about other than my life story and experiences. For the longest time (since I started web dev in 2020), I had treated my website as a portfolio/resume representing the perfect version of myself; but over the years, I have slowly lost interest in that format and found it unappealing for the most part. As a side effect, over time, my website just became the outdated version of my resume and the works I do, since it was also quite cumbersome to update the contents of the website.
My life story, hopefully just like yours, is extremely rich and fruitful, and definitely does not fit entirely onto this website. My goal is to add a lot more pages down the line and eventually (or at least attempt to) populate them enough to ultimately cover the majority of the facets of my life, both currently and previously.
Regardless, if you walked away from my website having at least learnt one or two new things about me, I would more than satisfied and immensely grateful.
how does this work?
Every page you read here is now written in plain markdown and automatically rendered to HTML, which makes it tenfold easier to keep it up to date.
I have categorized the pages to make it easier to browse through my life chapters. For now, I will first try to backfill as much about my history and past experiences first. In the future, as time progresses, I will be able to update those experiences and add more content/pages accordingly. Heck, I might be able to even add some new categories as I discover more of the world, who knows?
This is my life story. I did not use, and will not be using any LLMs to generate, edit, or assist in writing any of the text content you see in any way. What you see is the result of hundreds of thousands of spontaneous keystrokes pressed by my fingers on the keyboards, controlled by millions of neurons firing from my brain. These writings are not perfect, nor are they meant to be. I will admit, though, that AI has fundamentally changed the way we write, think, and communicate; you might even find some subtle yet striking similarities between my writing and a typical LLM-generated output. I regularly use AI to help my day-to-day workflow and tasks, but this time, I want to take 100% control and ownership of it. This applies to every single chapter of my life, and so should yours too.
